Come join us for our Third Annual Summer Stunt and Cheer one day camp!!!
Learn stunting techniques and cheers from the best cheerleading athletes in the mighty state of TEXAS and city of HOUSTON!!!
Clinic is open to Individuals, Groups, and/or Teams and all age groups ranging from elementary through high school.
Date: August 18th, 2013
Time: 9am-5pm
Ages: Elementary, Middle School, High School
(Age groups will be divided up accordingly, i.e. 4-6, 7-10, etc. and then by ability level within their age group.)
Location: Athletic Alumni Center.

Cost: $75
What you Receive: Ticket to the game, Camp tee shirt (given day of the game and worn during game day), lunch, and all participant's friends and family will be able to purchase tickets to the game for only $10!!! (all will be seated in the same section TBA)
You will be part of all pregame activities (parade, Coog Walk, and pre-game)!!
You will also perform at half time with the Spirit of Houston Marching Band and Cheerleaders!!!
During camp you will learn stunting techniques (according to your ability level) with UofH cheerleaders. Learn proper motion technique, learn half time routine, learn a dance you can use for your school pep rally's, and stunts to be performed at half time!!
At the end of the day you will be able to perform the half time routine for friends and family. There will also be an opportunity for any groups and/or individuals to perform any individual routines (best cheerleader, jumps, cheer only, group stunt, etc..) and be critiqued by veteran and experienced UofH cheer members.
Prizes will also be given out at the end of camp!!!
Which game you ask?
Southern vs University of Houston!!!! August 30th.
This is the season/home opener for UofH and will be nationally televised at 7pm.

Thurday (05/03)
Open Clinic @ 6 p.m. in Almuni to tumble and stunt before try-outs
Friday (05/05): 5 - 9 p.m.
Attire: White bow, White t-shirt, white Sports bra, black spankies
> 5 - 6 : Registration
> 6 - 7 : Stretching and warming up with tucks
> 7 - 8 : Stunting
> 8 - 8:30 : Fight song and Cheer
> 8:30 - 9 : Tumbling/review
Saturday (05/06): 9 a.m. - ??? p.m.
&g 9 a.m - ??? : Morning interviews
Attire: Business casual
*Once morning interviews are finished there will be an hour break for lunch and then the second part of the day will being afterwards. Call time after interviews will be announced on Sat.
Attire: White bow, black t-shirt, black sports bra, red spankies
> 30 min. for stretching and warm-up tucks
> Hour for running/standing tumbling
> Hour for stunting
> 30 min. for Chants
> 30 min. review of material
Sunday (05/05): 9 a.m. - ??? p.m.
Attire: White bow, red t-shirt, red sports bra, black spankies
> 9 - 9:30 : Stretching and warming up tucks
> 9:30 - 10 : Dance
> 10 - 10:15 : Review of Material
> 10:15 - 11 : Warming up stunts and tumbling
> 11 : Try-out in groups of 5
**Once teams are decided, cheerleaders will be filling out forms, taking pictures/answering questions for online biographies, and will be given schedules for the summer.
